Tremblay Gives UNB 2-0 Series Lead

There haven't been many 1-0 playoff games at the Aitken Centre in recent years. It wasn't pretty but UNB found a way to grind it out and take a 2-0 series lead in the AUS semi-finals.

Travis Fullerton stopped all 23 shots for his first AUS playoff shutout. Hunter Tremblay scored the game's only goal late in the 2nd period.

The shots in this one were 43-23 in favor of the V-Reds, roughly the same as game 1, but Acadia played a tight defensive game all night and Kristofer Westblom was outstanding in goal for the Axemen which kept the game close.

UNB can wrap up the series in game 3 at Wolfville on the Thursday.
