"Probably The Biggest Honour I've Had In Hockey"

The new captain of the UNB Varsity Reds will be 3rd year BBA student, Kyle Bailey. We're not surprised. A few months ago we did a little poll on who should be the next V-Reds captain, and over half of the respondents chose #32. To be chosen captain on a team full of leaders is no small feat. Congratulations, Kyle.

Bill Hunt writes more about our new captain in today's Daily Gleaner.

Congratulations to Kyle Bailey. I've been a big fan since day 1. The guy is a real stallion. Works hard every shift and always puts the good of the team first. He is a very deserving recipient. I just hope he puts in 5 years for us.

Not to take anything away from any of the other guys on the team, but IMO, Bailey was the obvious choice to don the "C" for the VReds after the departure of Friesen. Congrats, Kyle... you deserve it.
