Travis Fullerton made 16 saves and captain Kyle Bailey scored the game winner moments into the second period as UNB took the first half of a weekend double-header against the OUA's Brock Badgers.
Also scoring for the V-Reds were John Scott Dickson, Jon Harty, and rookie Ben Shutron. Final shots on goal were 36-16 in favour of UNB.

We don't see much of Brock in the AUS, but on Friday they played a tight checking, physical game that limited UNB scoring chances at times. Mark Yetman was strong in net for the Badgers. If Friday's game was any indication, we should expect some hard hits from both teams on Saturday. Game time is 7 PM.

Was Wright in the lineup?
Yes he was. He had one shot on net and was +1 on the night. Since nost AHL camps start Sunday, I expect he will be travelling today and not be in UNB's lineup tonight.
Thanks, Dave. Any thoughts on his performance last night?
Well he didn't stand out for me, but he didn't suck either. :-)
The d-men who I thought stood out offensively were Harty, Stammler, Gallant and Shutron. Defensively they were all solid, although Harty did make one glaring gaffe trying to make a hit that I believe Shutron covered him on.
Brock plays a solid physical game, and they have some big boys, so I thought UNB's defence acquitted themselves well.
Was this game rough?
Not especially. Brock does a pretty good job of clogging up the neutral zone and they have some guys who are solid on the forecheck.
