CIS Top 10 Rankings: STFX Climbing the Ranks

The latest installment of the Men's Hockey Top 10 Rankings has been released. UNB (8-0-0) remains at #1, while Alberta (8-1-1) locks down #2 after having their way with UBC in two games this past weekend.

Also representing the AUS is SMU (5-2-0) at #5 and STFX (5-1-3) at #8 who are up one spot over last week after pushing UNB to overtime and defeating SMU earlier in the week. The X-Men will play UNB this Friday at the AUC in what should be the biggest test on home ice yet this season.

No big surprise that UNB remains at #1. X should prove to be a good test for the VReds at home this weekend but I'm confident they'll prevail. Any word on the injuries to either Harty or Kidd? What about Jeff Lee, any chance that we'll see him in action before Xmas?

Gotta think that Acadia deserves a bit more respect in the rankings...I mean they are 6-1 against everyone except UNB (as of Friday night) and even one of the unb games was very close
