UNB@UPEI - Friday, Nov. 20th, 7PM

The 10-0-0 CIS #1 ranked V-Reds are back on the road tomorrow as they travel to Charlottetown, PEI to visit the UPEI Panthers at the MacLauchlan Arena at 7PM. The V-Reds will be eager to play after a six day layoff since they beat the DAL Tigers last Saturday, 7-1. Hunter Tremblay leads the country with 25 points in 10 games, and he will be looking to add to that total tomorrow night. The team rookies will be chomping at the bit after seeing their teammates recieve their CIS rings the other night and will be looking to work towards their own.

Regardless of the rumors and speculation, the Panthers' players know that the country's eyes will be on them as they face the #1 team. They will be looking to prove that they can compete with the V-Reds, especially in their own barn. The Panthers are led by Matthew Carter who has 18 points in 10 games and who sits 7th in the CIS scoring race.

The game will be available on CHSR 97.9 FM, Panther TV, and UNB Hockey on Twitter.

Any injury updates for tonight?

It will be interesting to see how this 'new' UPEI team will do against UNB. I still think UNB will win though.

Kidd is still limping around and hasn't been practicing. Alred told me Monday night he's not sick any longer. We'll find out the rest when we get to Ch'town.

UNB has a good record over the past 5 years on the island, 8-2 with a GF/GA of 4.4 vs 2.6 (almost 2:1). PEI's most recent win was last season in game 1 in overtime.

The only player around that long is JSD. Hard to believe there is only one 5th year player on UNB this season.

FYI - UNB is on a 5 game winning streak at home vs PEI (5-1-0 in the past three years)

To be 100% accurate, their visitor record is 8-1-0-1 (the lose last year was in OT).

At home over the same period their record is 8-2-0-1 with a 1-1 record in Exhib. (Fall Classic)
