UNB Hockey Alumni Return for 25th Anniversary

In today's Daily Gleaner, David Ritchie tells the story of how one former UNB hockey player made this weekend's 25th anniversary celebration possible.  Those of us who where around 25 years ago still get excited talking about the run the team had.  It's great to see today's program taking time to respect the past.

It will truly be a great weekend having the opportunity to meet everyone from that memorable season. Great to see the current team doing so well noting that another "Islander" is at the helm with a few other Island boys contributing, ie. the Corcoran's (Spencer & Brett)

Justin is back in town practicing with the team. I heard from others (so it's very second hand) that he's looking for another team - he didn't want to go to Daton, so he chose not to appear.

I heard he was ruled ineligible to play for some reason...anyone know why?
