Travis Fullerton showed us this weekend that the bigger the game, the better he performs. He was outstanding tonight, making 43 saves and helping his team beat Acadia 2-1. He'll return home from a tough road trip against the #2 and #3 teams in the AUS having given up a stingy 2 goals in 2 games. Fullerton even made a big save on a penalty shot tonight to preserve the 2-0 lead.
Scoring for UNB were John Scott Dickson and rookie sensation Chris Culligan. Jonathan Laberge scored the lone Acadia goal. Final shots favoured Acadia 44-21.

This is the second time this season where UNB has played in Wolfville and the shot count has been stingy towards UNB ...
This was a game where the reported shots didn't represent the play - the game was pretty even in the first period and a half, with UNB having more stretches of advantage, especially on the penalty kill, in the latter half of the game.
As already been stated, Fullerton was fabulous in nets all weekend.
I felt that as well...it seemed the person in charge of keeping track of the shots was a little generous towards Acadia...I have no doubt they had more shots than UNB (and seemed to block a fair number of UNB's attempts) but definitely not by a 2-to-1 margin...
Want to say hi to everyone back home from the Olympic Village here in Whistler, BC. Been following things on CHSR ever since I got out here in December. Great stuff! Love tuning in to hear the V-Reds keep steamrolling towards another national championship tournament. Thanks - Carl
