UNB@UdeM, Friday Jan 22nd, 7pm

The top team in the AUS meets the bottom team as the CIS #1 ranked UNB V-Reds (19-0-0) travel to Moncton tomorrow night to face the UdeM Aigles Bleus (5-13-1) at the J.-Louis-Levesque arena. The V-Reds look to keep their perfect record against AUS teams intact, while the Aigles Bleus hope to keep their playoff dreams alive.

UNB is coming off a 4-1 loss to UMaine, and is looking to get back in the win column, and to get closer to a first round bye for the playoffs. UNB fans are looking forward to seeing Hunter Tremblay step back on the ice, he missed the game in Maine as a precaution, but should be lacing them up in Moncton. Travis Fullerton comes into the game having just received the AUS and CIS honors for top male athlete in the country last week.

UdeM knows what every game means at this point; last night they skated to a 6-4 victory over STU (6-11-2), which included two shorthanded goals by Dean Ouellet and Mathieu Betournay. UdeM will bring everything they have as they seek to leave the AUS basement, and get to that sixth and final playoff spot.

The game will be available on CHSR 97.9 and UNB Hockey on Twitter.
