V-Reds Set Record In Win Over Dalhousie

UNB set a new AUS record for most points in a season with 54 points (27 wins and 1 loss) by defeating Dalhousie 5-2 this evening at the Aitken Centre.

Scoring for the V-Reds were Daine Todd, Hunter Tremblay with 2, Nick Layton, and Luke Gallant.  Hunter Tremblay appeared to score 2 other goals but the officials waved them off.  Derek Yeomans took the win in goal.

The AUS playoff match-ups are set.  SMU will play UdeM in round 1 after Moncton upset Acadia in a shootout to slide into the last playoff spot.  UPEI will host STFX in the other first round match-up.

Any opinions on which team you (the fans) would rather see UNB play in the 2nd round, StFX or PEI?

Or, if an upset were to occur in round 1, what about the possibility of playing Moncton?

Tremblay for sure scored at least one other goal. Top shelf a couple minutes into the first period, I could clearly see the net buldge as it went through the net but the officials and the goal judge apparently can't see.
