UdeM@UNB Wed. Feb. 3rd, 7pm

Tomorrow night, the CIS #1 ranked UNB V-Reds (23-0-0) are home to the UdeM Aigles Bleus (8-14-1) at the Aitken University Center for the annual Mark Jeffrey Memorial game.

The V-Reds, coming off another successful weekend, will be looking to keep the home crowd happy, and to continue working on improving their game. Hunter Tremblay continues to hold a one point lead over F. Verreault-Paul of the McGill Redmen (18-5) in the CIS points race with 44 points. UNB will be without Matt Fillier and Jonathan Harty as they are both serving one-game suspensions.

UdeM also had two big wins on the weekend, defeating both Dalhousie (8-12-3) and StFX (10-10-4); the last being by shootout win with a goal by Mathieu Betourney. UdeM is fighting for their playoff lives, with five games left in their schedule, they find themselves in an almost must win situation as they trail DAL by two points for the final playoff spot this year.

The game will be broadcast on CHSR 97.9 FM, webcast on News-Cast.com, and can be followed on UNB Hockey on Twitter.

Just wondering if the previous post is literate. whats (what's) Mark Geoffry (Jeffrey) night.....sry (sorry)....its (it's)....sorry to nitpick but it's embarrassing to read something so poorly written. The fact STU played UNB on the first weekend of the 2nd half is the reason why they didn't hold the Jeffrey Game..they didn't want to play it that early in the schedule.
