Dickson, Friesen make AHL Debuts

On Friday night, both John Scott Dickson and Dustin Friesen made their AHL debuts.  Dickson suited up for the Rochester Americans against the Binghamton Senators, while Friesen skated for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers vs the Manchester Monarchs.

Another former V-Red made some news in the AHL.  According to the Daily Gleaner, Darryl Boyce has once again been named by his Toronto Marlies team as American Specialty/AHL Man of the Year.  The award is given for outstanding contributions to their local communities during the season.  Boyce was the Marlies selection last season as well.

Question for Bill Hunt, where did you get that email from Dustin to Gardiner from? Isnt that between a coach and player?

Good night for the AHLers Saturday...Friesen with a goal in Bridgeport's 4-3 loss to Hartford; Bourbeau with an assist; Dickson with an assist in the game against Toronto.
Regarding the question: it was forwarded to me by two different sources. It was a judgement call on my part. I thought it was a nice tribute to MacDougall that his former captain would remember him. If I erred, I will apologize to all concerned.
