Tremblay up for CIS BLG Award

Today's Daily Gleaner reports that Hunter Tremblay is the AUS male nominee for top athlete at the CIS BLG Awards.  This is the same award former V-Reds forward Rob Hennigar won in 2008.

Also, thanks to SquirrelH8TR for passing along that John Scott Dickson is joining Dustin Friesen in Idaho as the Steelheads prepare for a long playoff run.  Good luck to both of them.

Agreed - that last goal is great. If Andrew does another 'UNB Goals' video, it will be #1 or Daine Todd's goal against X (I think it was 'X')

Todd had a beauty against Toronto where he undressed a D-man...that is probably the one you are thinking of...

Hunter didn't win the BLG Award, the football quarterback from Calgary did. Maybe next year. E.

JS got a natural hat-trick in game #6 of the ECHL Semi's and Dustin was +4 as the Steelheads won 7-5. They advance to the ECHL Kelly Cup finals with a 4-2 series win over Stockton. JS was player of the game.
