Woolger Not Playing For UNB

This summer's other worst kept secret has taken an interesting turn.  The Daily Gleaner's Bill Hunt reports that Brian Woolger has decided against joining the team this year.  Woolger spent most of his CIS career with the University of Alberta where he found a steady job on the Golden Bears' second line. There was some speculation he might have fit in on UNB's third line.

It's difficult to assess what impact this might have since UNB has no shortage of skilled wingers that can contribute offensively, however it wouldn't have hurt to add a bit of experience and a player that is familiar with at least two of the teams attending the University Cup tournament this March.
