V-Reds Edge UMass 4-3 in OT

Two goals twenty-five seconds apart in the third period by Jordan Clendenning and Hunter Tremblay helped the Varsity Reds force overtime, where Jeff Lee provided the finishing touches on a 4-3 come-from-behind victory against the UMass Minutemen.  Ryan Seymour was the other goal scorer for the Varsity Reds.  Final shots on goal were 29-28 for UNB.

Travis Fullerton went the distance in goal, while Steve Pearce, the former McGill defenceman and brother to former V-Red forward Rob Pearce, made his debut on defence.  Josh Kidd was not listed on the Game Tracker roster.

The team has little time to rest as they head to Burlington, VT to play the University of Vermont Catamounts tomorrow at 5 PM AST.  That game will be available on PPV courtesy of nsnsports.net.

OK, I'll ask. What's up with Kidd?

The last thing they need is another injury to a D-man...
