Friesen Suits Up For AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers

Former V-Reds captain Dustin Friesen suited up for the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers last night and managed to make the scoresheet by recording 4 minutes in penalties.  Bridgeport lost the game 2-1 in overtime to the Providence Bruins.

Earlier yesterday Bridgeport signed Friesen to a Professional Tryout contract.

Three former V-Reds played in the AHL last night. In addition to Dustin, Darryl Boyce, of course with the Marlies, got 5 and a game for a fight that looks to have been part of a line brawl and Kevin Henderson got an assist on Syracuse's first goal last night. Michael Ouzas didn't dress for Houston.
