Tremblay Earns Male Athlete of the Week Award

Three guesses as to who earned this week's UNB/Valley Graphics Male Athlete of the Week award - the hat trick against STU grabbed enough attention for Hunter Tremblay to receive that honour.  Incidentally, this is the second time this season Tremblay has received the award.

Speaking of Tremblay, pick up a copy of today's Daily Gleaner to read David Ritchie's article about the quiet and unassuming #7 and his value to the team.

What an inspiring article by Dave Ritchie! I had goosebumps!

But I couldn't agree more, Tremblay is like the little engine that could! I wish him and the rest of the team all the best for the remainder of the season!

Hunter (at 177 points) is also the only active player on the AUS Top 50 Career Points list at position 33 (tied with Rob H. and a player from SMU).

The top 20 is at 188 (11 points away)

The top 10 is at 212 (35 points away)

The only players ahead of Hunter, from the past 10 years, are Marc Rancourt (7th-216), Yanick Evola (14th-199) and Guy Loranger (16th-194). All played 5 years.

There are only 11 four(4) year players ahead of Hunter - the rest played 5 years.

Only 13 players have 200+ points (23 away for Hunter in 16 games)
