Tremblay's Hat Trick Leads V-Reds to 4-0 Win vs. STU

Coming into this game, Hunter Tremblay was 3 points behind Rob Hennigar on the all-time UNB Regular Season scoring list.  With the three goals he scored in UNB's 4-0 victory this afternoon, the two share first place for the time being.  Luke Lynes scored the other UNB goal, while Travis Fullerton was there when called upon, earning his second shut-out of the season.  Final shots favoured UNB 39-12.

This one probably won't be remembered as the team's best effort of the year.  At times in the first two periods, UNB didn't seem to be in synch, and early in the second period Coach MacDougall even called a time-out to settle the team down.

Jeff Lee left the game early with some type of injury.  Let's hope it's nothing serious.

The win puts a bit of distance between UNB and UPEI.  The V-Reds have 20 points, while the surprising Panthers aren't far behind at 17.

Interesting to note that both Alberta and McGill lost this weekend; the rankings should be interesting this week

Poor Lavigne...only guy who showed up today for Stu. If trembly didn't finish off the hat trick, he prolly would have been first star (he was rediculous). I doubt he would have done the interview at centre ice though lol
