The CIS released the latest National ranking today, and the V-Reds maintained their #1 ranking for the 7th media poll in a row this season and the 17th in a row overall. The V-Reds received 14 of 17 possible first place votes with the McGill Redmen (12-1-2) receiving two first place votes and Lakehead (13-3-0) receiving the final first place vote.

Math doesn't seem right. It looks more like UNB got 14 1st place votes out of 17 instead of 15.
14 x 10 = 140
+ 2 x 9 = 18
Total = 158
Yet they supposedly got 165 points.
So 14 x 10 plus 2 x 9 plus 1 x 7 = 165 looks more probable. That would be the normal 17 voters.
My mistake.
I didn't scan down far enough to see that #1 vote for Lakehead.
Really.
The interesting point is someone has them at 4th or two 3rd place. Looks like some pollers are going on straight record.
Off topic, but interesting nonetheless...if I'm reading this correctly it looks like starting as early as next week people are going to have to pay to read the Gleaner online. We'll see how that works out...
