According to David Alter, Maple Leafs and NHL reporter for Sportsnet 590 The Fan, the Columbus Blue Jackets have claimed former University of New Brunswick forward Darryl Boyce off of waivers. The Toronto Maple Leafs placed Boyce, an unrestricted free agent after the season, on waivers Friday. He had 1 goal and 1 assist in 17 games for Toronto this year after signing a 1 year/700K contract with the Maple Leafs in July. For his career Boyce has amassed 6 goals and 9 assists in 64 NHL games.
