The Race For First

As the regular season approaches its final two weekends the AUS conference is as tight as it has ever been. There are five teams - UNB, UdeM, Acadia, Saint Mary's, UPEI - within four points of first place. Here is what lies ahead for each of these teams as they battle for top spot:

UNB (34 points in 23 games, 0.739 overall point percentage)

- 2 games at home (0.833 point percentage) - STU (0.261 overall, 0.250 on road), UdeM (0.696 overall, 0.667 on road)

- 3 games on the road (0.636 point percentage) - ACA (0.667 overall, 0.773 at home), DAL (0.326 overall, 0.364 at home), UPEI (0.652 overall, 0.750 at home)


Universite de Moncton (32 points in 23 games, 0.696 overall point percentage)

- 3 games at home (0.727 point percentage) - STFX (0.348 overall, 0.364 on road), SMU (0.667 overall, 0.545 on road), UPEI (0.652 overall, 0.545 on road)

Some notes:
- Moncton and Acadia are the only teams with more home games left than road games.
- Saint Mary's and Acadia both only have four games remaining, while the other three teams have five.
- Saint Mary's only has one home game remaining, while Acadia only has one road game left.
