Top Ten (#14): V-Reds Back On Top

The University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds returned to the top spot in the latest CIS Men's hockey rankings released today. The V-Reds received 11 first place votes and 163 points, edging McGill (6 first place votes, 150 points) and Western Ontario (120 points) to become the 3rd different team atop the rankings in as many weeks. It is also the 5th consecutive year UNB will enter the playoffs ranked #1.

Voting is based on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis, with a 1st place vote worth 10 points. The CIS Men’s Ice Hockey Top Ten Committee is made up of media members from across Canada.
