Top Ten (#18): V-Reds Finish Season On Top

The CIS released their final men's hockey poll of the 2011-12 campaign today and the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds top the rankings for the 5th consecutive week, and 15th time in 18 polls this season. Although UNB received one fewer first place vote this week - down to 13 - they accumulated 166 total points, identical to last week. The McGill Redman picked up the other 4 first place votes and 156 points overall to remain in the second spot. The only change in the top half of the ranking sees the Canada West champion Saskatchewan Huskies move up to 3rd place while the Western Mustangs fall to 4th. Since this is the final poll of the season these rankings will be used for seeding purposes for the University Cup.
