UNB Doubles Up Stingers

The University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds picked up their second win in less than 20 hours with a 4-2 victory over the Concordia Stingers this afternoon, giving them a two game sweep of their weekend road trip to Montreal.

- Stefan Salituro, Tyler Carroll (on the power play), Ben Shutron, and Colby Pridham all scored for the V-Reds.

- The game was tied at one after the first period and UNB held a 2-1 advantage after two. They would make it a 4-1 game in the third before the Stingers got a late power play goal.

- Dan LaCosta picked up the victory in goal.

- The Varsity Reds next game is this Thursday, on the road against the AHL's Portland Pirates.
