UNB Adds OHL Goalie Vienneau

UPDATE: Hockeyscene.com has more here.

It appears the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds have filled another one of their needs. According to today's Daily Gleaner the V-Reds have recruited goaltender Joel Vienneau to help out expected starter Charles Lavigne between the pipes this upcoming season.

Vienneau, a native of Hearst, Ontario, has played the previous two seasons in the OHL. This past season was his best as he seen action with both the Sudbury Wolves and Kitchener Rangers, playing in a total of 55 games while posting a 28-16-9 record to go along with a 2.87 GAA and 0.913 save percentage.

Welcome to UNB, Joel!
