News And Notes: Henderson To The NHL, Todd, Fullerton, Pridham

Here are a few noteworthy articles concerning some former Varsity Reds:

- The Nashville Predators blog Fang Faction is reporting that former V-Red Kevin Henderson will make his NHL debut tomorrow night against the Blackhawks. Henderson, of course, spent two seasons at UNB, winning a University Cup title in 2009.

- The Texas Stars, affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced the signing of Daine Todd to an amateur try-out contract today, ending any speculation that Todd might be back for his 5th and final year of eligibility next season.

- The San Francisco Bulls of the ECHL have released goaltender Travis Fullerton from his amateur try-out, despite Fullerton posting a 1.59 GAA and 0.941 save percentage in two games (76 minutes) while with the team.

- In some older news the Fort Worth Brahmas of the CHL signed Colby Pridham to a contract at the end of March. Pridham got off to a good start with his new team as he picked up an assist in each of his first two games, both of which were playoff contests. This included helping set up the overtime winner in his 2nd game. Unfortunately for Pridham, he suffered a gruesome laceration (WARNING: Picture is graphic in nature) to his leg due to an errant skate blade in his 3rd game and will be out for a significant amount of time rehabilitating.
