News And Notes: Top Ten, Critchlow, Pridham

A few stories of interest on this Wednesday:

- The CIS has released their latest men's hockey top 10 rankings this afternoon. The top four positions remain unchanged as the University of Calgary Dinos collected all 16 of the first place votes to stay in the top spot. They are followed by the University of Alberta Golden Bears, Acadia Axemen, and the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds. Six OUA teams - McGill, UQTR, Carleton, Ryerson, Lakehead, Queen's - round out the rankings.

- A day after being named the UNB Varsity Reds and Domino's Pizza male Athlete of the Week, V-Reds forward Cameron Critchlow has been named the Subway AUS male Athlete of the Week. Critchlow scored the game winning goal and then added the insurance marker as the V-Reds picked up an important 4-2 road victory over the Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleus on Sunday night.

- It appears as though former Varsity Reds forward Colby Pridham will be contributing regular articles on CIS hockey leading up to the University Cup for Sportsnet. You can check out his first post here, where he discusses each of the country's top ten teams.
