CIS Top Ten (#4): V-Reds Close Gap

The University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds inched a little closer to the top ranked Alberta Golden Bears after posting a pair of wins over the weekend, according to the latest men's hockey Top 10 rankings released by the CIS this afternoon. 

The V-Reds, ranked for the 159th consecutive week, gained two more first place votes than last week after defeating Dalhousie and St. FX over the weekend. Alberta, on the other hand, seen their lead shrink from 19 points to 12 points despite sweeping a pair of games against rival Saskatchewan.
