CIS Top Ten (#10): UNB Moves Up

For the first time since October 27th the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds gained ground in the CIS men's hockey rankings, moving from 7th to 4th in the latest poll released earlier today.

The Acadia Axemen (14-2-1) and McGill Redmen (17-2-1) remained in the top two spots for a second consecutive poll while the Saskatchewan Huskies (15-3-0) moved up to 3rd. The Varsity Reds (12-3-2) and UQTR Patriotes (16-3-1) round out the top five.

After an 0-2 weekend the defending champion Alberta Golden Bears (12-5-1) dropped from 3rd to 6th while St. FX, Mount Royal, Carleton, and York make up the rest of the top ten.

Saint Mary's were the only other AUS team to receive votes, ranking 13th.
