- Alex Dubeau got the start in net and stopped 22 out of 24 shots to improve to 6-1-2 on the season.

- UNB was 2 for 5 on the power play while STU was 0 for 3.

- Before the game forward Rob Mignardi was presented with the annual Mark Jeffrey Memorial Scholarship.

- The line of Maillet, Clapperton, and Braes combined for 5 goals, 5 assists, and were a +17.

- UNB won 33 out of 63 face-offs.

- Reigning AUS MVP Philippe Maillet hasn't missed a beat since returning from his injury, posting 4 goals and 6 assists in 3 games. He now ranks 9th in the league with 23 points and 5th with a +18 rating despite playing in only 11 out of UNB's 22 games.

- UNB features 7 out of the top 18 scorers in the league in Brace, Maillet, Caissy, Halley, Beauvillier, Mignardi, and Murray. They all have at least 21 points.

- All AUS teams were in action tonight with Saint Mary's scoring a 5-4 road win over Dalhousie, Acadia using a late goal to get past St. FX 3-2 at home, and Moncton doubling up UPEI 4-2 in Cahrlottetown.

- The Varsity Reds will look to extend their winning streak on Friday night when they host the UPEI Panthers at the AUC. Game time is 7PM. The game can also be viewed live at AUStv.ca.
