U Sports Playoff Update: Huskies Take CW, Queen's Cup Set

With another week of U Sports playoff action in the books, the field for the University Cup is beginning to come into focus. Out west the Saskatchewan Huskies swept the UBC Thunderbirds to capture their first Canada West championship since 2016. Meanwhile, in the OUA the Ottawa Gee-Gees and Guelph Gryphons advanced to the Queen's Cup, earning a berth at the University Cup in the process. The rest of the field, as well as the seedings, will be determined this week as both the AUS and OUA playoffs conclude.

NOTE: Both AUS series' are best 2-of-3, the Queen's Cup and OUA Bronze Medal are winner-take-all
