U Sports Top Ten (#5): Reds On Top...Again

The Reds are once again the top ranked men's hockey team in the land, according to the latest top ten rankings released earlier today.

The Reds posted a pair of convincing home wins over the weekend, topping Acadia 6-1 and Saint Mary's 4-1 despite missing their top two goaltenders due to injury, to run their record to 11-1-0.

The top three remained unchanged with undefeated Saskatchewan and British Columbia staying put at number two and three.

The Alberta Golden Bears moved up to 4th and the Ottawa Gee Gees up to 5th while the UQTR Patriotes enter the rankings for the first time since February of 2020.

The bottom of the top ten feature Carleton, St. FX, Guelph, and Mount Royal.

Special shout-out (again) to the UNB women's hockey team who are up to 3rd in the latest rankings, behind only McGill and Saint Mary's.
